Played during a driving rainstorm on a July morning. We had the course to ourselves - the groundskeepers told us we were bananas to keep playing. Course was a big challenge and in good shape. Fairways undulate. Many high green complexes. Bring your spin game to hold these greens; otherwise plan to be chipping on a lot with one putt to save par. Thoroughly enjoyable links experience right off the coast of downtown Dublin. Post round pint in the clubhouse could not have tasted better.

This course is a little gem well worth a visit and one of the nicest courses I've played. The course is immaculate which is a credit to the green staff. Got a food voucher for something to eat after which was a nice little touch. Guys in the pro shop are very helpful and give you the rundown of the course prior to teeing off and there are great warm up facilities. We will definitely be returning.

Such a great Irish Links Golf Club, Royal Dublin GC is one of my favourite tracks. Front nine plays a bit easy but that back nine heading back to the club house and into the wind is soul destroying. On a sunny day it’s a gem of a place. Club house is beautiful and all the staff are excellent.

I had a great experience there. The course is in superb condition. The starter I met there is extremely friendly and welcoming. Would love to be back there again.

Visited on ideal winters day...sunny....brisk...clear skies....ideal for short walk around The Bull Wall. taking in the views..renewing acquaintances with area I have known for 50 years. Royal Dublin itself has changed with the times.

Outstanding track. And fantastic staff but the highlight was my caddie. Mickey was the best I have ever had - a perfect ambassador for the course. Highly recommended.

Very special Golf Club with a long History dating back to 1885 Fair test of links golf always really enjoyed playing here. Great Clubhouse and Pro shop with very friendly and helpful staff.
